Winners revealed at East Midlands Business Masters Awards
Ben Dorks, the CEO at Nottingham-based software giant Ideagen, was named Ambassador of the Year at the East Midlands Business Masters Awards on Thursday evening (October 13).
In front of an audience of around 300 business leaders from across the region, Dorks walked away with the title after a stellar year for the firm, which has recently been taken private in a £1.1bn deal.
Meanwhile, two-man delivery firm, Panther Logistics, walked away with a double win after triumphing in the Large Business and Fast Growth categories.
Sam Metcalf, Midlands editor at TheBusinessDesk.com said: “In an extremely tough year for East Midlands businesses, all our shortlisted and winning companies tonight should be extremely proud.
“The strength in depth of the region’s businesses was reflected in over 100 companies entering the awards – and a record attendance. We thank each and everyone of them for their support over the last 12 months.”
