Developer breaks ground on Grade A facility in the ‘motorsport golden triangle’

How the unit will look

Work has begun on a new 39,000 sq ft industrial warehouse facility in Northamptonshire’s “motorsport golden triangle.”

Axess Towcester is being speculatively developed by Hampton Brook to service the county’s fast-growing high-performance engineering sector.

The unit at Tove Valley Business Park will include a two-storey office and amenity block, four level-access loading doors and an extensive yard with “generous” car parking facilities.

It is being built to BREEAM “Very Good” standard and is expected to be completed by March 2023.

Located just north of Towcester town centre at the intersection of the A43 and A5, the facility will benefit from easy access to the M1 and M40.

Ian Jackson, director at Hampton Brook, said: “There is clear demand for new high quality commercial space in the region and especially for units of this size in the Northamptonshire market where there has been a lack of new development.

“Axess Towcester will help ease this constrained supply, delivering a detached Grade A industrial/warehouse facility on a 2.38-acre site. Being in an established employment area, close to occupiers including Tesco, Screwfix and Porsche, it offers a highly visible anchor for businesses connected with the automotive industry.”

Drake & Partners and Cushman & Wakefield have been appointed as joint letting agents on the scheme.

Jackson added: “We are confident that the letting of Axess Towcester will bring significant investment and employment opportunities to the area.”
