Nottingham law firm acquires Derby counterpart

Rotheras Solicitors has acquired rival East Midlands law firm JH Powell & Co.

The deal will see 15 JH Powell staff join the company, including two partners, taking Rotheras’ total headcount to 131.

The Nottingham firm will also take over JH Powell’s premises next to Derby Cathedral.

The deal was completed on 28 October.
