Family-owned glazing firm snapped up by PE investor
A Leicestershire-based manufacturer of windows, doors and conservatories which has been trading for nearly half a century has been acquired by a major UK M&A and private investment firm.
Coalville Glass & Glazing Co was founded by Ray and Beryl Whitehorn over 45 years ago.
The family firm manufactures and installs double glazing products for homeowners and housebuilders across the Midlands and beyond.
It was previously known as Wholepoint UK.
Opulentia Capital’s swoop for the firm is the second to be completed by its newly formed Glass & Glazing group.

Seabridge told TheBusinessDesk.com he was unable to reveal the value of the deal due to being bound by a confidentiality agreement.
