Sushi restaurant chain launches new Nottingham venue

A nationwide sushi restaurant chain has opened a new two-storey Nottingham venue.

Kokoro Sushi has launched at 7-8 Exchange Walk in the city, and now has over 50 restaurants across the UK.

TheBusinessDesk.com was first with the news that Kokoro was looking to move to the city, last May.

FHP Property Consultants brokered the deal on behalf of its asset management client, Evolve.

Kat Behbahani of Evolve said: “We are thrilled to welcome Kokoro Sushi and Bento to our parade on Exchange Walk. They are a fantastic addition to the scheme and we wish them every success going forward, they have carried out a high quality fit out which you cannot miss as you pass by.”

Oliver Marshall at FHP added: “It is great to secure a national brand such as Kokoro into Nottingham. We have been trying to get Kokoro into Nottingham for a number of years so it is brilliant to finally secure them, it is a great addition to the city.

“The location on Exchange Walk is a busy thoroughfare and benefits from good footfall throughout the day and night, it is close to key locations in the city such as the Old Market Square and Albert Street, perfectly placed for city workers grabbing lunch or shoppers looking for a lunch on the go.”
