Mansfield care provider to create 50 new jobs

Mansfield-based home care services provider Your Home Care is set to create around 50 new jobs after winning a three-and-a-half-year contract with Nottinghamshire County Council.

The agreement means the company – already rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) – has become an approved provider of home care in the Mansfield and Ashfield area.

The jobs will be created over the next 12 months.

Paul Pitchford, co-founder and director of Your Home Care said: “We’re still a new organisation, but in such a short time we have won awards, created jobs, and become the only CQC rated Outstanding provider of home care services in the Mansfield and Ashfield area.

“More than anything, we are proud of our commitment to deliver high-quality care to people who want to live independently in their own homes.”

Scott Marsh, who co-founded the company with Pitchford, added: “It’s an amazing achievement to have been selected as an approved provider of home care services in the Mansfield and Ashfield area, and is testament to the hard work and dedication of our hard-working, and dedicated, team.”

Ben Bradley, leader of Nottinghamshire County Council and Member of Parliament for Mansfield, said: “I’m really pleased that Your Home Care are moving forward, growing and creating new jobs in and around Mansfield. It’s good to see a local business doing well.

“We all know that we have a shortage of staff and capacity to deliver adult social care, and so this step forward in offering new provision and providing more opportunities to help people can only be a good thing for all concerned.”
