Crazy golf operator tees up Nottingham for latest opening

Golf Fang's Birmingham site

The Nottingham site of a former manufacturing firm which went under last summer could be turned into an indoor golf centre, new plans have revealed.

Golf Fang wants to open the 23,000 sq ft venue on land on Daleside Road which was once the home of an Almor factory. Almor went bust last July, with the loss of 78 jobs.

The Golf Fang fit-out will provide an internal crazy golf venue with bar and restaurant areas. The fit-out includes re-modelled entrances, mezzanine floor, toilets, kitchen, bar, food and themed golf areas.

A statement from Golf Fang said: “The concept combines crazy golf, theatre, cocktails and DJs in an art-infused environment that showcases the very best of street art and their writers.”

The plans outline that a total of 25 jobs could be created if the plans get the go-ahead.

Golf Fang has venues in Liverpool, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Sheffield and Cardiff.
