£25,000 raised for charity at Nottingham Hot Property

An incredible £25,000 has been raised for Nottinghamshire charity Footprints thanks to the generosity of the East Midlands property and construction professionals taking part in Nottingham Hot Property.

Held at PRYZM, the popular event – with a football theme to celebrate an outstanding year of sport – saw leading professionals from across the region take to the stage and more than 800 people attend.

Footprints is a Nottingham-based organisation that provides conductive education among other services to help children with mobility and communication difficulties develop the skills they need to thrive and achieve their potential.

Stephen Frew, Footprints charity and business manager, said: “It has been a privilege to work with Hot Property as one of our charity partners and we are very grateful for their support. Their incredible donation of £25,000 means we will continue to provide our transformational services for the children and families we support. And importantly, it will allow us to expand the services we provide, reach more families and supporters, and create sustainable growth for our future.”

The annual event – which is in its eighteenth year – has raised more than £339,000 for children’s charities across the East Midlands and seen more than 100 property and construction professionals take to the stage.

Siobhan Goodacre, Hot Property trustee and organiser, said: “We’re always blown away by the generosity of our sponsors and attendees who make Hot Property a resounding success. To raise a staggering £25,000 to support Footprints and the amazing work they do is the icing on the cake.

“The football theme was also well received and a fantastic tribute to the amazing year of sport in 2022 – from Nottingham Forest’s promotion to the Premier League, the incredible Euros win by the Lionesses and the World Cup, which kicked off just three days after the event. Everyone got stuck into their performances and with acts such as The Weather Girls to Spandau Ballet, the variety was brilliant.”

Nic Jepson, a Footprints trustee and long-time performer at Hot Property, added: “For me it’s been such a fantastic experience bringing two of my passions together.

“The work Footprints does to support so many children and their families is truly remarkable, so £25,000 will make a huge difference. We are so grateful to the sponsors, attendees and everyone involved in Hot Property for a brilliant night and raising money that will help change lives.”

The event wouldn’t be possible without its generous support from local firms. The headline sponsors for 2022 included Pagabo and Pulse Consult, with further sponsorship from Chord Consult, CPMG, DL Design Studio, Faithful+Gould, FHP, Inspired Villages, Overbury, Samclo, Selcon and Shakespeare Martineau. Joining these were: PR agency Cartwright Communications, design agency RizkMcCayTribe, design and print agency Ginger Root and the event’s media partner TheBusinessDesk.com.
