Developer snaps up prime Nottingham retail unit

Bullish property investor ALB has snapped up another property on Nottingham’s high-end shopping street, Bridlesmith Gate.

ALB has bought the Joules unit at 25 Bridlesmith Gate, in a deal brokered by Box Property and Robinson Webster.

ALB has plans to convert the vacant upper floors into office or residential accommodation.

Ben Tebbutt, director at BOX, said: “This latest acquisition demonstrates ALB’s continued commitment to Bridlesmith Gate.

“Working closely with our clients we have already let the units to the southern end of the street to the likes of Sneakrverse, Stick & Ribbon, Barista Lab coffee shop and the vintage clothing retailer Garms.

“By owning larger parts of the street, we are able to take a holistic approach to the lettings, in order to create the right mix of retail and leisure uses.”
