Merger creates £2m corporate refreshments business

Simon Leadley and Rhona King have joined forces

A pair of East Midlands-based refreshments businesses have merged to create a new £2m company, TheBusinessDesk.com can reveal.

Vending machine supplier Cema Vending’s sister company R+R Hub, which provides workplace refreshments and micro-market solutions, and corporate caterer Posh Nosh have joined forces to create what their owners describe as “a stronger multi-channel platform” to serve the East Midlands and beyond.

R+R Hub is a comparatively new venture compared to Posh Nosh, which has been trading for over 20 years, although Cema is of similar vintage. The combination of the two businesses means a team of more than 30 staff will now work together to supply fresh food and provide automated kiosks to companies across the UK.

Posh Nosh MD Rhona King said: “This is such an exciting opportunity for everyone involved.

“This move means that we are all looking forward to the future. We have some ambitious growth plans, so make sure that you watch this space for some exciting developments.”

Simon Leadley, managing director of R+R Hub, believes the merger is “a perfect fit.”

He said: “Two local businesses combining to offer the complete solution will mean that the best possible service can now be provided to our customers.”

Cema Vending and R+R Hub are headquartered in Netherfield, while Posh Nosh operates from a base in Sandiacre.
