Property and construction consultancy Ingleton Wood has chosen Sherwood Business Park in Nottingham as the location for its seventh UK office.

The London firm also has offices in Billericay, Cambridge, Colchester, Oxford and Norwich and employs around 250 people.

Its new operation in the East Midlands will initially focus on the public and secure infrastructure sectors. It will be led by sector expert and CBP Architects alumnus Ben Bettle, who has been promoted to senior associate to head up and develop the practice’s multi-disciplinary services.

Bettle said: “Ingleton Wood has developed a strong presence in the public sector and secure infrastructure sector and has a reputation for really taking care of its clients, so being offered the chance to join and help grow a company that shares the same values and goals as myself was too good to turn down.

“I look forward to bringing my experiences, knowledge and extensive contacts across northern England, Scotland and Wales to help strengthen our multi-disciplinary services and provide a more effective national offer at our modern Nottingham offices, where we look forward to meeting our clients in person to advance critical infrastructure projects.”

Darren Fowler, partner and architect at Ingleton Wood, said: “The opening of our Nottingham office space is a major milestone in Ingleton Wood’s expansion and an exciting step in our mission to deliver sustainable critical infrastructure and professional services for UK and US customers.

“We are experiencing increasing demand for our specialised services in the Midlands and further north, so this was the natural next step, allowing our clients to benefit from greater collaboration, innovation and cost-effective services from long-standing regional experts.”

Ingleton Wood says it is looking to recruit architectural technicians and building services engineers following the move.
