Transport and logistics recruitment agency Driver Hire has extended its footprint in the East Midlands.

Anne Goodfellow, who runs the Yorkshire firm’s Nottingham franchise, says she is “looking to transfer the success” of her existing branch to Mansfield after establishing a new operation in the town.

Goodfellow, her daughter Chloe and four colleagues will make up the team at Driver Hire Mansfield.

Since buying the Nottingham business, Goodfellow has grown it substantially, with trading passing the £1.5m mark last year.

She said: “It’s all about delivering great customer service. My team are passionate about what they do.”

Driver Hire Mansfield will provide temporary and permanent drivers and other logistics staff to local and national organisations in both the public and private sector.

Chloe Goodfellow added: “We’re already supplying drivers and other staff to a number of local businesses and national companies who have depots in Mansfield.

“We’re really looking forward to meeting the staffing needs of other local businesses and organisations right across our Mansfield territory.”
