Truck body manufacturer calls in administrators

A Nottinghamshire firm which manufactures truck plant bodies has officially called in administrators.
Louise Foster of Revive Business Recovery has been called in to look after the day-to-day running of Shawtrack Services, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.
As we reported on July 5, the firm applied to enter administration through law firm The Wilkes Partnership.
Clipstone-based Shawtrack Services began life in 1992 as a specialist transport company, but diversified into engineering bodies over the years.
According to Companies House, founder James Shaw-Browne and fellow director Carol Ann Shaw Browne stepped down as directors on the Tuesday 4 July and Wednesday 5 July.
On Wednesday (July 19), they passed a resolution to change the company name to STS (Clipstone) Limited.
Shawtrack’s latest accounts, made up to the end of 2021, show the firm had assets of just under £386,000, while it owed creditors almost £460,000.
The average number of employees during the year was 30.
