Software provider posts record turnover

BookWise Solutions, the software provider for the NHS, is marking its 22nd year in operation with turnover landmark.

Situated in Faraday Court, Burton on Trent, firm achieved a record turnover surpassing £1m.

Founded in 2001 by Denise Williamson and Lee Copestake, the company initially launched its Elements product for booking rooms in healthcare training centers. Since then, its in-house team has developed specialised software to support outpatient departments and various specialized day units.

Managing director of BookWise Solutions, Denise Williamson said: “A highlight of the year so far has been the commitment from University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust to collaborate with us on the development of a new product called BookWise Renal. This partnership sets the stage for further expansion into the renal care market.

This year, the company has signed contracts with six more Trusts, making it a total of 107, now serving 319 NHS locations.

To support this growth and keep their service levels high, BookWise Solutions has hired new team members. The company has added a sales consultant, implementation & projects manager, senior developer, and administrative support assistant.

Williamson added: “We really have had an exceptional couple of years, and 2023 is turning out to be no different. Our mission has always been to share the difference that scheduling can make every day, and we wouldn’t be here without the increased demand for efficiencies within the NHS.”
