On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nottingham-headquartered recruitment firm Thorn Baker has made a trio of new hires.

The firm welcomes Laura Kirby, head of marketing, Scott Ingham, branch manager for their new industrial branch in Mansfield and Laura Ball, business development executive.

As head of marketing, Laura Kirby will be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities including brand strategy, digital marketing and lead generation.

Mansfield branch manager, Scott Ingham joins Thorn Baker’s industrial recruitment team to strengthen their presence in the North Nottinghamshire region and expand its branch network.

Laura Ball joins as business development executive for the company’s FM and industrial teams to expand its portfolios.

Emily Ward

Account executive at West Bridgford-based creative agency The Dairy, Emily Ward, has been promoted to account manager.

Meanwhile, local brewery, Nottingham Brewery, has been added to the agency’s roster of clients.

Ward said: “It means the world to be recognised for the hard work that I have put in over the last year and a half, and I’m incredibly excited for what the future holds.”

She added: “Stepping into this role has always been an ambition not only because of the opportunities that the step up brings, but because I want to be a part of the future growth of The Dairy as we head into our 21st year in business,”
