Angel City Football Club has announced that from 2024 global tech company Mindera will be the club’s software engineering founding partner.

This partnership aims to support digital transformation and enhance learning in the local community.

It will also involve several elements, such as executive dinners, a content piece showcasing Mindera’s support and assets including LED displays, game day hospitality and email promotions.

The Leicester-based tech firm operates in various countries, including the US, UK, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, India, and Romania, with a total workforce of 1,200 employees worldwide. This global reach will enable the football club to use Mindera’s worldwide network for upcoming projects.

Together, they plan to bring Mindera Tech Camps, a well-known program that teaches coding and software engineering, to the United States for the first time in 2024, where they will work with selected non-profit organisations to run these camps.

Mindera’s branding was first displayed at the August 27th game against OL Reign and other game-day activities will start in 2024.

Paul Evans, founder and CEO at Mindera, said: “We can’t wait to get started working with ACFC. The work the club has done both on and off the field is incredibly impressive. What drew us to partnering with ACFC is our shared values. At Mindera, education and giving back to the community are core principles for us. We believe tech has the power to change lives and we regularly run tech camps and coding academies to help people learn tech skills and launch their careers.

“Putting people first is at the core of everything we do. We love helping people to grow and develop skills that will ultimately help improve people’s lives, and we believe this partnership will undoubtedly enable us to make a positive difference to many. ”
