Winners revealed at East Midlands Business Masters 2023

All the winners at the Business Masters Awards

Byron Dixon OBE, the founder and CEO of Leicester-based Micro-Fresh was named Ambassador of the Year at the East Midlands Business Masters Awards on Thursday evening (October 19).

In front of a sell-out audience of over 300 business leaders from across the region, Dixon walked off with the title after another stellar year for him and his business.

Elsewhere, 200 Degrees Coffee was a double winner, after being crowned Large Business of the Year and Hospitality & Leisure Business of the Year.

Meanwhile, our audience heard from keynote speaker Cally Price, non-executive board member at Frasers Group, who shared her inspirational rise through the company.

TheBusinessDesk.com’s Midlands editor, Sam Metcalf, said: “Tonight’s shortlisted and winning companies were part of a record-breaking effort at this year’s Business Masters Awards. This year we had a record number of nominations for the Masters and a record number of shortlisted companies. Tonight’s attendance is another record for us.

“One thing the judges remarked upon during the judging session was the sheer strength in depth of the entries and I think this is the reason why the East Midlands continues to be one of the most economically dynamic regions outside of the south-east and the businesses in the room tonight play a huge part in making it that way.”
