Concrete giant sells off part of Derbyshire business

The owner of Derbyshire-based Stanton Precast has sold the drainage side of the firm to a Northern Irish counterpart.

Tracey Concrete has bought Stanton Precast Drainage, which is based at a major manufacturing plant in Ilkeston.

A statement from Tracey said: “This strategic move is a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality precast drainage solutions and reinforces our position in the industry.

“By merging our expertise and resources, we are well-positioned for continued expansion and success.”

Stanton will continue to operate its infrastructure and rail divisions from the Ilkeston factory alongside Tracey.

A statement from Stanton owner SATEBA said: “SATEBA remains passionately dedicated to continue with pioneering advancements in rail infrastructure. Our vision is expansive, embracing opportunities worldwide while ensuring our commitment to sustainable innovation and excellence.

“The new company name will be announced shortly. We look forward to working with our rail and infrastructure partners in the UK.”
