Alternative offered by Motorpoint as Derby site forced to shut due to storm

With Motorpoint Derby’s showroom closed due to storm Babet they have announced that from Wednesday 1st November, its Sheldon House offices on Prime Parkway will be used as a collection location for those impacted by the store’s closure.

This allows its customers to browse cars online and from its 19 unaffected stores and have their next Motorpoint delivered to the Derby-based store at no extra cost.

Located just two miles away from the Derby store, Shelton House will be staffed by members of the Motorpoint Derby team who will also be able to accept part-exchange vehicles.

Chris Goodison, regional retail director at Motorpoint said: “While we are working hard to get our Derby store open as soon as possible, it’s great to be able to offer local motorists an alternative in the meantime.

“Motorpoint has a huge presence in Derby, and we are proud to be headquartered in the city, so we are fortunate to be able to repurpose our existing office space to continue supporting customers through this difficult time. As ever, the team will be on hand to assist customers at every stage of the process and answer any questions they might have.”
