Ideagen makes fourth Aussie acquisition in a year

Nottingham-based Ideagen, the provider regulatory and compliance software has made another Australian acquisition after swooping for Plant Assessor, a solution for plant safety and maintenance management.

The deal marks Ideagen’s seventh acquisition in 12 months and fourth Australian business to be bought since the start of 2023.

Plant Assessor is designed to streamline and simplify the process of monitoring and managing plant and equipment safety. It is a platform that provides a detailed risk assessment for each piece of machinery, highlighting any potential hazards and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations.

The software also facilitates the management of necessary documentation, such as maintenance records and safety certifications.

Plant Assessor is Ideagen’s seventh acquisition of 2023 following Qadex (now Ideagen Quality Management Food and Beverage) in January, Ideagen Tritan and Ideagen OnePlace Solutions in May, Ideagen DevonWay in September, Ideagen Lucidity in October and Ideagen OpCentral in November.
