Nottingham-based commercial fire and security alarm company Tecserv UK has made changes to its senior management team and account management team following its conversion to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

Founder Graham Tilley has become chairman and Neil Berrisford, who is currently a director alongside sales and marketing director, Colin Milligan, will become CEO.

Catherine McHugh has been appointed as a director and joins the board.

In the account management team, Stuart Milligan has been promoted from assistant service manager and will take on a new role as a key account manager.

Tilley said: “One of the main reasons that I favoured an EOT was to support the staff who had supported me over the years. Many of them have worked for Tecserv for 20 years or more and so I believed that an EOT was the best way to acknowledge that loyalty. 18 months on it is working really well and these promotions recognise our growth and development.”

He added: “We have just finished our financial year and we have enjoyed the most successful year in the company’s history. Earlier in 2023, following our half year results, we were able to pay the staff a tax free bonus which really sent home the message that ‘if the company is successful, you too will be successful.”
