The latest business to join East Midlands Chamber as a patron is planning to spread its message through a series of round table events with TheBusinessDesk.com.

Curium Solutions, which already has a strong presence in the West Midlands, is now expanding its leadership support expertise into the Eastern half of the region. Founded in 2008, Curium specialises in a People First approach to radically accelerate change so that our clients realise their strategic goals sooner. Their services combine programme, project, and change management with people development to improve the effectiveness of leaders, teams, and people to deliver change fast.

Brands it has worked with include Birmingham Airport, Culligan International, Eon, Halfords, Legal & General, National Express and Weightmans LLP. As well as having a strong presence across the Midlands – from its base in Birmingham – it also has operations in the USA and Canada.

The business now wants to build on those foundations by working with East Midlands Chamber – with the support of Chamber head of special projects Rick Blackmore – and by promoting its services with the help of TheBusinessDesk.com.

Co-founder and director Andy Dawson said: “At Curium Solutions, we believe that successful change begins with people. Our decision to become patrons of the East Midlands Chamber was an easy one after meeting Rick, and we are looking forward to increasing our presence across the Midlands.

“We already have a number of customers in the region and with several of our team living there, we will be active and supportive members of the Chamber. We look forward to meeting fellow members and championing the business community. At the same time, we are delighted to be partnering with TheBusinessDesk.com on a series of roundtables across the country, looking into the big issues that are impacting businesses.

“On 20 March we will be holding one of these in Nottingham, entitled ‘Leading teams through change and uncertainty’, reflecting the unparalleled level of change which will be affecting businesses in the coming years.”

Rick Blackmore, head of special projects at East Midlands Chamber said: “I’m delighted to welcome Andy and the team at Curium Solutions into East Midlands Chamber membership as our newest Patron. Their brand values – People First, Keep It Simple, Make it Real, are clear to see and as a leadership organisation I’m sure they can support businesses across the East Midlands find those areas of development to increase growth.”

Sam Metcalf, Midlands editor at TheBusinessDesk.com, added: “TheBusinessDesk.com has a strong relationship with both Curium and the East Midlands Chamber. We’re looking forward to working with Curium to really get under the skin of the changing nature of regional business leadership – and we’re extremely grateful for the Chamber for hosting our first event next month.

“It should be a fascinating exercise for all involved, and I’m really pleased to see Curium spread its reach into the East Midlands.”
