Engineering consultancy bags spot on £780m framework
Engineering consultancy Hexa Consulting has secured a spot on Pagabo’s £780m Professional Services framework for the UK, marking its first framework appointment.
The firm has been appointed as a supplier for Lot 2 of the framework, covering civil and structural engineering, across all five geographical regions it bid for.
Pagabo’s framework launches in April and will last for four years, offering public sector clients access to construction consultancy services.
Mark Jones, director at Hexa, said: “Pagabo is one of the market-leading framework providers, and as such we know the competition to be appointed is incredibly high, so we’re over the moon with this appointment. It’s especially rewarding when considering the business was founded at the same time as the previous iteration of the framework went live in 2020, which serves as a reminder of just how far we’ve come as a business in a relatively short time.
“Along with our recent expansion, this continues an incredibly strong start to 2024 for Hexa, and we are looking forward to what the next chapter brings along for us, and to working closely with Pagabo into the future.”
Originating in Nottingham in 2020, Hexa now has a 50-strong team and has recently opened its second office in central Leeds.
Jason Stapley, chief procurement officer at Pagabo said: “Professional services is our most popular framework offering so we were expecting a high level of quality bids for the new iteration – and we were not wrong. Now on its third instalment, this framework goes from strength to strength – continually demonstrating quick, simple and effective procurement possibilities.
“Small and medium-sized enterprises make up 79% of the supplier list. We’re very proud to be pushing SMEs to the forefront of ethical procurement, providing the public sector with compliant access to the best suppliers across the market. There was a high level of competition for this framework, so our congratulations are extended to the suppliers and we look forward to working closely with them over the framework’s lifespan.”
