Wedding venue business expands into corporate world

An East Midlands-based business best-known for its Tipi weddings is extending its offering into the corporate world.

Wonderland Venues – which operates four of its five wedding venues in the East Midlands – is rolling out its new corporate events.

The new services will be launched at a corporate open day at its Whatton House venue on Tuesday, 18 June, with the event featuring live music from Girls Who Mix, food and drinks, cocktail masterclasses, team-building activities and a wellness tipi.

Linzi Burnell, events director and co-founder at Wonderland Venues, said: “Since starting out in 2016, we have helped give hundreds of couples their dream wedding, and now we want to offer the same opportunity to the business community for their corporate and team events.

Each Wonderland Venues location has a wide range of catering partners to suit whatever needs the event has, along with a fully-serviced bar. They also offer i-fi and AV options for events that require a more formal approach, with capacity ranging from 50 to 1,000 people depending on the event’s needs.
