Next plans submitted for 3,000-home development

Plans have been submitted for the construction of hundreds of homes as part of a large new housing estate just outside Nottingham.

Strata Homes has proposed building 271 new homes at the Fairham site between Gotham and Clifton, which will eventually include 3,000 new houses.

In addition to the new homes, the development will include extensive employment space at its business park, a primary school, community and sports facilities, and a neighbourhood centre.

There is also a reserved route for a potential future tram extension through the site.

Strata Homes, the latest housebuilder to join the Clowes Developments-led project, is seeking permission to develop a new neighbourhood complete with necessary access, landscaping, and infrastructure.

The development will include eight one-bedroom, 69 two-bedroom, 139 three-bedroom, 15 four-bedroom, and 40 five-bedroom homes, with 27 affordable homes across the 9.24-hectare site.
