Delivery firm edges closer to calling in administrators

Home Delivery Solutions

A delivery company in Chesterfield has moved closer to collapse after alerting administrators for a second time.

Home Delivery Solutions (HDS), which is based in Chesterfield, has posted its second notice of intention (NOI) to appoint administrators through law firm DLA Piper.

Founded in 2009, the firm specialises in delivering internal and external doors and their fittings and promises next day, same day and out of hours services.

In its latest available accounts, made up to the end of 2022, HDS said it employed 136 staff. At the time, the firm had assets of over £1.8m and owed creditors almost £2.6m.

The NOI will protect HDS from creditor action for around ten days.

HSBC Bank and HSBC Invoice Finance hold charges against the company.
