Signage firm opens second franchise in Leicester

Fastsigns Leicester North has launched its operations in a Leicester industrial area.

Located at Optimus Point industrial area on Optimus Way, this new branch marks the 23rd addition to Fastsign’s network and complements the existing Leicester franchise.

Serving North Leicester, Loughborough, Rugby, and Derby, the firm offers a range of services including printed banners, commercial signage, custom vehicle graphics, branding solutions and interior and outdoor graphic design.

The centre has invested over £50,000 in new technology, including an Epson S80600 printer and a Mimaki CG-160-FXII Plotter.

Yaser Khan, the franchisee and managing director, brings experience from his previous roles as a brand designer at hospitality brands like China Gate Group, No Fear, and Everlast.

Initially supported by a team of two, focusing on sales and production, Khan plans to expand the team as the business grows, providing additional job opportunities in the local community.

He said: “There has been a growing need for more signage solutions within the Leicestershire and wider East Midlands area, so I look forward to bolstering our current offering, reaching new audiences and showcasing the evolving capabilities of the growing FASTSIGNS network.

“As a one-stop-shop for signage throughout the UK, I’ve always had my eye on FASTSIGNS and the impact it has had across many industries over the years. Coming from a background in graphic design, the transition to signage seemed like the natural next step and I’m excited to be utilising those skills, from content creation, project management and sales, in a new industry.”
