PR agency passes baton to new leaders
Nielsen McAllister, a PR and communications agency based in Derby, has changed ownership as founder Bob Bushby transitions leadership to fellow directors Simon Wildash and Simon Kinnear.
Established in 1990, the agency specialises in business-to-business PR and communications across sectors including print and packaging, logistics, software, and pharmaceuticals.
Services include content creation, social media management, and marketing strategy.
In the new structure, Simon Wildash assumes the role of managing director, with Simon Kinnear serving as co-director.
Bob Bushby moves into the position of chairman, providing guidance and continuing to support the agency’s client base.
Both Wildash and Kinnear bring experience to their roles, with Simon Wildash previously serving as a client at Essentra and Simon Kinnear returning to Nielsen McAllister in 2021 after an earlier tenure with Bushby from 2002 to 2011.
The new owners said: “Bob has grown Nielsen McAllister over 34 years into an agency with a superb reputation, both amongst the businesses we work with and the editors and journalists who cover our clients’ news. It’s the best possible foundation
for us and our brilliant team to build upon.”
Bushby said: “The two Simons know Nielsen McAllister inside-out and its future could not be in better hands. I look forward to working with them in my new role.”
