Jobs go at healthcare services provider as firm plunges into the red
Derby healthcare services firm Totally has made a round of redundancies, it revealed this morning as part of its preliminary results for the year to the end of March.
The firm said it “had to say goodbye” to some of its staff during a year which saw revenue fall by 21% to £106.7m and a profit of £1.8m turn into a loss of £3.9m this time around.
Totally provides frontline healthcare services by targeting the reduction of waiting lists and waiting times for patients, alongside corporate fitness and wellbeing services for corporate customers.
The firm said it expects revenues for its full year to march 2025 to fall further, to around £85m. The jobs cuts this year, alongside other savings, delivered a £2.2m boost to the company.
Wendy Lawrence, CEO, said: “The board remains very confident in the scale and attractiveness of the opportunity available to the company and the potential to return to growth in the short-term, underpinned by the operational progress made internally to drive efficiency, performance, accountability, agility and innovation.
“We await further guidance from NHS England and NHS trusts and look forward to updating the market further as more clarity emerges.”
