Housebuilder gets green light for £29m development

Housebuilder, Avant Homes Central are set to build 104 new homes in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, after receiving planning permission for a £29m development called Lawrence Point.

Located on Lynncroft, the development will offer a mix of two, three, four, and five-bedroom homes, featuring 12 energy-efficient designs, including terrace, semi-detached, and detached houses, starting at £189,995 for a two-bedroom terrace.

10% of the homes are designated as affordable housing.

Construction is set to begin in September 2024, with the first residents expected to move in by August 2025.

Under section 106, the housebuilder will also contribute £506,000 to the community for local education, healthcare, and improvements to bus stops and library facilities.
