Burrito bar ready to take a bite out of Nottingham

The opening date for new Nottingham burrito bar has been revealed.

The venue, on Lower Parliament Street in the city centre, will open its doors on Friday September 20.

The new 2,377 sq ft restaurant will offer a range of Mexican dishes including burritos, bowls, nachos, tacos, chips and salsas.

Boojum head of operations, Rob Powell, said: “Following our huge Leeds opening earlier this year, we’re very excited to announce the launch date of our Nottingham restaurant. Our team has been working hard over the last few months to create our new space and we can’t wait to welcome our first customers.”

“To celebrate we will be handing out free burritos to the first 300 diners through the doors from 12pm, so we’d advise customers to get there early to make sure you don’t miss out. We will also be offering a multi-channel experience with our loyalty scheme and order ahead on the Boojum app and delivery available on all the major delivery platforms.”

Established in 2007 in Belfast, Boojum boasts 17 outlets across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK mainland. The Nottingham operation is its 18th eatery and only its second in mainland UK, the first opened in Leeds in April this year
