Pharmaseal, a Nottingham-based trial management software company for life sciences, has announced a partnership with Ledger Run, a technology company focused on improving clinical operations.

Together, they aim to enhance clinical budgeting and payment processes using their platforms, Engility® and ClinRun™.

Pharmaseal, established in 2016, was founded to create a unified trial management platform that helps global life science organisations manage clinical trials aimed at improving human health.

The company’s team of clinical technology experts designed the Engility® Trial Management platform to simplify clinical operations, enhance collaboration, and increase productivity.

The Engility platform is built on cloud technology and is designed to scale for various types of trials.

Ledger Run is transforming clinical trial operations with its suite of trial management solutions.

The ClinRun™ software makes it easy to activate and pay sites and this platform automates budgeting, contracting, payments, and forecasting, reducing manual tasks and errors while speeding up processes and improving engagement with investigator sites.

Daljit Cheema, CEO at Pharmaseal, said: “Pharmaseals team has 30 years of success developing software solutions that deliver functional and leading edge eClinical software. We help our customers to continuously optimize the clinical development processes by providing intuitive, affordable and rapidly implementable CTMS and eTMF systems.

“Partnering with Ledger Run will further enhance our ability to tailor our digital solutions to enable our customers to optimize their clinical operations including payments and budgeting. We are excited to work with a company creating complementary, next-generation software to provide a broader set of functions for our customers.”

Gary Lubin, chief executive officer of Ledger Run, said: “The industry is facing increasingly complex study designs, new challenges as clinical trials become more complicated. The partnership will create an integrated solution to meet these challenges and provide a more attractive solution to the market through a broader set of capabilities for our customers.

“Our site activation and payment capabilities, along with Pharmaseal’s eClinical trial management
platform will make it easier for our customers to manage their clinical trial business operations
and assist in the continuous improvement of these critical processes.”
