New chair set to take over at Games Workshop

Nottingham-based Games Workshop has appointed a new chair.

Mark Lam will take on the role of non-executive chair of the company from 1 November. He has been an independent non-executive director of the company and the senior independent director since 2023.

Lam takes over from John Brewis, who will retire from board of Games Workshop at the end of the year.

Lam is an experienced board chair and director, whose commercial experience spans both start-up businesses and listed companies.

He is Singaporean and his international experience includes supply chains and business operations in the Asia-Pacific, North America, and Europe.

He has held senior positions in retail, telecommunications, and healthcare, including as chief technology officer of Openreach.

Lam is currently chair of the Royal Free London hospital group and a non-executive director at Lowland Investment Company.
