Software firm acquired by French company in European expansion

A Northampton-based software development firm has been acquired by a French software company, advancing its strategy to expand across Europe and enter the UK market.

Lacour has acquired Dragon2000 to boost its leadership in the European dealer management software market, taking advantage of growth opportunities in car workshops, garages, and dealerships

Castle Donington accountancy firm, Cooper Parry advised the shareholders of Dragon2000 on the sale.

The transaction has attracted a cross-border strategic buyer and will allow Dragon2000 to maintain its growth trajectory and continue delivering its services to customers in the UK.
