Software provider scores big by snapping up start-up
A software provider based in Loughborough has acquired an AI-drive platform that automates the formatting and presentation of candidate CVs and resumes for recruiters.
The Access Group provides business management software for mid-market organisations across Europe, the USA and Asia Pacific and has acquired tech start-up HireAra.
The acquisition of HireAra will enable the firm to expand its AI-driven talent management capabilities, improving its recruitment operating systems (RecOS) offering.
Founded in 2022, HireAra is a London start-up dedicated to creating technologies that enhance outcomes for recruitment agencies.
Its AI-powered platform enables recruiters to showcase candidates in a polished and branded format.
The platform automates the production of formatted CVs, spec CVs, client cover sheets, and candidate assessment packs.
So far, over a million candidates have used the technology.
Thomas Vose, CEO and co-founder, HireAra said: “Becoming a part of The Access Group marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for HireAra and our customers. We’re not only going to be equipped with the resources and expert support we need to scale the team and further improve our platform to better serve our customers’ needs, but we’re also gaining access to a huge, global network of knowledge.
“Together with The Access Group, HireAra is better placed than ever to help drive the transformation and reshape the future of the recruitment sector to better serve our customers’ needs and aspirations.”
Emma de Sousa, group managing director, of Access Recruitment said: “Bringing HireAra into the Access family further strengthens our RecOS, underscores our commitment to innovation in the recruitment technology space, and demonstrates how AI is becoming a transformative force for recruiters, helping them streamline processes and deliver more personalised candidate experiences.”
