Housebuilder given go-ahead for 190 homes
Persimmon Homes North Midlands has been given the go-ahead by East Staffordshire Borough Council to build 190 new homes on Beamhill Road in Burton on Trent.
The development will be made up of two- to five- bedroom properties. Of these homes, 33% will be transferred to a housing association partner for rent and shared ownership.
The site forms part of the wider Beamhill Sustainable Urban Extension and brings with it a range of community benefits, £1.9m pledged to education, £123,498 to healthcare and £67,915 to sports provision.
Dan Endersby, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes North Midlands, who is speaking at our next Property Networking Lunch, said: “We’re proud to have secured approval to deliver this new community in Burton on Trent, which will bring a wide range of benefits to the area.
“This development will not only generate job opportunities throughout the lifespan of the project but will leave a legacy of community benefits for the people of the town and its surrounding areas. We’ll continue to work closely with East Staffordshire Borough Council throughout the build process to deliver on our commitments.”
