Law firm strengthens team with insolvency specialist
A Nottingham law firm has strengthened its team with the appointment of Nicky Calthrop-Owen, a specialist in insolvency and corporate recovery.
Calthrop-Owen joins as a consultant at Rothera Bray’s Lace Market office, bringing her expertise in insolvency and restructuring services.
She is known for her work in contentious litigation and advisory roles within the insolvency and corporate recovery sector and has played a key role in some of the East Midlands’ largest restructuring cases.
In 2024, she was named in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame and has maintained her ranking in Chambers UK Midlands Restructuring/Insolvency for 20 years.
With extensive experience in complex insolvency and restructuring matters, Calthrop-Owen has advised directors, stakeholders and insolvency practitioners nationwide, delivering significant recoveries for creditors.
She has also represented lenders and security trustees in recovery actions and fraud cases and provided guidance on insolvency issues for professional partnerships.
