YFM Equity Partners has made a £6.5m investment in the MBO in November, advised by the private equity team at law firm Freeths.

Replay Maintenance offers installation and care for artificial tennis courts, sports pitches and athletic tracks.

Freeths’ corporate partner Lee Clifford and corporate director Mohammed Abbas led the Freeths team on the transaction. They were supported by a number of specialist lawyers across the firm, including corporate managing associate Rosanna Brown and corporate associate Katherine Ferrari-Bradley, debt partner James Dyson and debt associate Charlotte Beddows, employment partner Laura Tracy, tax senior associate Emily Gafney, commercial managing associate Hema Singhal and IP and media managing associate Lloyd Lane.

Clifford said: “It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to support YFM again. The investment and support which YFM will undoubtedly bring to Replay Maintenance will be crucial in helping the management team to build on the growth trajectory to date.

“Replay maintenance have a fantastic track record and have been involved in preparing facilities for several major sporting events. The business has a real ambition to grow, and with YFM’s support, it is now primed to continue its expansion plans.”
