Steggles steps up at property agency

Charlotte Steggles has completed a meteoric rise at NG Chartered Surveyors after being promoted to director at the Nottingham-based commercial property agency.

Steggles joined NG as a graduate surveyor in July 2020 after enjoying a placement year with the firm the previous year.

By June 2022 she has been promoted to associate director.

She now becomes the youngest-ever professional to be made a director at the company.

Richard Sutton, managing director at NG, said: “Charlotte has been crucial to the growth and continued success of the agency over the past four years. We’re delighted to be able to confirm her promotion to director.

“We always say at NG that if you’re good enough, you’re old enough. Charlotte is the future of surveying and we couldn’t be more proud of her. Her dedication to our clients and her colleagues and her all-round professional is outstanding and this promotion is very much deserved.”

Fellow director Jude Weston first mentored Charlotte when she joined NG and has remained a sounding board and figure of support as she has risen through the ranks at the company.

Weston said: “Charlotte is a joy to work with. She is also a fantastic role model for all young women wanting to pursue a career in property. She should be incredibly proud of what she’s achieved so far at NG, and – at such a young age – the sky really is the limit. Congratulations, Charlotte!”
