Hot tub supplier pulls the plug as liquidator brought in

A Leicestershire and Derbyshire provider of hot tubs, exercise swim pools and ice baths has collapsed with all jobs lost.
MySpa UK, which had showrooms in Chaddesden and Coalville, shut up shop on December 17 and called in Dean Nelson from PKF Smith Cooper to liquidate the company.
In its latest accounts, made up to March 31 2023, MySpa UK said it employed around 20 people. All jobs have now been a lost.
A statement from the company said: “We regret to inform you that MySpa UK Ltd has made the difficult decision to cease trading and enter liquidation due to ongoing market challenges.
“We are working with Dean Nelson from PKF Smith Cooper, who will oversee the liquidation process and handle all outstanding matters.
“Customers with direct debits and or standing orders in place should cancel these directly with their banks immediately.
“We sincerely appreciate your support over the years and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
“Thank you for your understanding.”
Documents filed at Companies House show that HSBC held a charge of just over £83,000 on MySpa UK, which will be repaid in full. It is unlikely that other creditors will see any of the cash owed to them.
