On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Talasey, an independent supplier of landscaping solutions has announced more new appointments and promotions.
The North Lincolnshire-based company has recruited and promoted five people into sales and business development roles as it bids to generate additional sales.
Sam Norman has joined the company in the role of business development manager with a brief to work across the business to identify opportunities.
She brings nearly 15 years of merchant industry experience to the role and is excited by the ambition of the company and the prospect of working with people within the business who are highly regarded in the merchant and landscaping industries.
She said: “I first came across Talasey as a Category Manager for a well-known merchant and have been impressed with the way they operate. It’s also been interesting to watch the way they have grown by playing to their strengths and doing all the right things to support both their merchant customers and the wider landscaping industry.
“I have been amazed by their plans – and the way they intend to approach growth – in the next 3–5 years, and I’m looking forward to playing a part in what will be a real success story.”
Dean Martin and Ben Westwood are stepping into new roles as regional sales managers for the South and North regions.
Both have demonstrated exceptional experience and leadership within the company and the industry at large and will work closely with Aaron Frogley to manage and support the area sales managers in their regions, driving sales performance and strengthening both new and existing customer relationships.
Formerly an area sales manager, Becky Bryan has rejoined the company as a business development manager and has hit the ground running getting a new partner programme up and running in building stronger bonds between Talasey, its merchant customers and the landscaping community.
Matt Yates completes the line-up, taking up a role as a key account manager – having previously worked for a manufacturer of building materials.
Sales director Aaron Frogley said: “Talasey has been busy recruiting some very talented people and also promoting from within to create a great blend of experience of Talasey and the markets in which we operate – and also bringing experience from other sectors within the construction industry,” said Aaron.
“The number of new appointments in such a short space of time is an exciting prospect for Talasey – and in many ways, it’s part of a coming of age where we’re moving into a new phase of growth for the business.”
