East Midlands corporate team advises on ‘complex’ cross-border deal

A team of East Midlands deals professionals from law firm gunnercooke has advised the shareholders of Video Game Insights on the sale of the company to Sensor Tower, a California-based, private equity-backed business.

The deal was led by gunnercooke’s corporate M&A team, including corporate partner, Jahid Ali, US corporate partners Noreen Weiss and Steven Anthony Behar, corporate associate, Hasin Ali and Ttrainee solicitor Riann Khan.

Video Game Insights is an analytics platform in the gaming industry, providing data and insights for developers, publishers and investors.

The deal involved a complex cross-border structure spanning the UK, US and Estonia.

gunnercooke’s team advised the selling shareholders throughout the process, with US-based firm Silicon Law advising on the American legal aspects.
