Derbyshire property group boosts portfolio with two new estates

Devonshire Property Group has expanded its commercial portfolio with the acquisition of Poundbury West Industrial Estate in Dorchester.
The estate includes two units, totalling over 18,000 sq ft, currently occupied by Jewsons and ScrewFix.
Purchased from Melville Property Group, the price remains undisclosed.
The Derbyshire-based group has also acquired City Trading Estate in Norwich, a 40,000 sq ft site with six units ranging from 4,970 to 8,720 sq ft.
Several well-known brands, including ScrewFix, CEF, and Easy Bathrooms, are tenants at the estate.
These acquisitions follow the sale of two properties last year, including a 102,000 sq ft warehouse at Markham Vale, a joint venture with HBD and Derbyshire County Council.
Devonshire Property Group, part of the Devonshire Group, was established in 2016 to manage and develop both residential and commercial properties.
The property group has a pipeline for over 2,000 homes across Derbyshire and Yorkshire over the next 20 years.
