Turnover nears £200m at Lindum as profits continue to build

Lincoln-based construction contractor Lindum Group has hailed “close teamwork” after posting strong year-end results.

The company, which employs 633 people, posted a turnover of £198.8m for the year to the end of November 2024 – up £12.6m compared with the previous 12 months.

Meanwhile, pre-tax profits rose to £10.3m – up from £8.1m.

The results come in the year after David Chambers stepped down as chairman to let Freddie and Edward Chambers take control.

Some 507 of Lindum’s staff are shareholders in the company. In a statement included in the accounts, Freddie and Edward Chambers said: “Lindum will continue to believe in ‘teamwork’ and a decentralised approach to management. Respecting and listening to everyone in the business, at all levels. Continuing to evolve, trying to be a better business, not to grow for the sake of growth. To share success when things go well. To continue to look after our clients with care and attention, with a good value service.”
