Midlands council to boost defence and security sector growth
Midlands business leaders have been appointed to a new Midlands Defence and Security Industry Council, aimed at driving growth and investment in the region’s defence sector.
The council brings together senior representatives from some of the Midlands’ largest employers, alongside SMEs, to collectively champion the region’s defence and security capabilities and advocate for the sector’s economic potential.
Its members will work to create jobs and expand opportunities for graduates and apprentices.
