A gang of rogue traders who preyed on elderly and vulnerable homeowners across the Midlands have been jailed after defrauding victims out of almost £880,000.

Covert CCTV footage captured two of the fraudsters pressuring an 83-year-old Nottingham woman into writing an £18,000 cheque for roofing work that was either unnecessary or never carried out.
