Second M1 incident in a day causes fresh delays for motorists
Fresh disruption has hit the M1 after a multi-vehicle collision caused lengthy delays in Leicestershire, following a separate serious incident on the motorway earlier today.
A crash involving five vehicles has led to significant congestion on the M1 southbound between Junction 21 (Leicester/Fosse Park) and Junction 20 (Lutterworth).
One lane is closed, with traffic reduced to two lanes and delays of around 40 minutes as queues build back towards Fosse Park.
