Fishing tackle specialist reels in stronger profits
A Nottinghamshire fishing bait and tackle manufacturer has reported improved profitability after a year of steady trading and stronger margins.
Rapala VMC UK, formerly Dynamite Baits, increased turnover to £4.3m in the year to 31 December 2025, while after-tax profit rose to £228,000, up from £10,000 in the previous reporting period.
The business said sales of fishing bait, tackle and accessories increased by 1%, while gross margin improved to 32%, reflecting stronger trading performance.
