Competition watchdog investigates acquisition of fleet specialist
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has launched an investigation into the acquisition of a Northampton-based specialist fleet services business by NRG Fleet Services.
An initial enforcement order was issued on 10 August 2026 after the regulator found reasonable grounds to suspect that NRG and Specialist Fleet Services (SFS) had ceased to operate as distinct businesses.
