AI adoption creates jobs as East Midlands firms race to build skills
AI is already having an impact on employment across the East Midlands, with businesses reporting new roles alongside a growing push to train their workforces.
Research from the Lloyds Business Barometer found that 65% of East Midlands businesses currently using AI say the technology has created new jobs within their organisations.
The findings also point to a significant investment in AI skills. More than half of businesses in the region, 55%, plan to increase spending on AI to develop their workforce over the next year.
